Help for Families
Find the right solution for your child and your family.
If you are a parent/caregiver of a child with mental health and/or behavioral issues, navigating the system – doctors, therapists, schools, and more – can be difficult and confusing. We hope to make it easier.

Referrals/How to Access Services
Most of our services accept referrals from specific state agencies, such as the MA Department of Children and Families, MA Department of Mental Health and others, which contract with Wayside to provide those services. Others, such as Wayside’s parent support groups, young adult resource centers and school programs, can be accessed directly (meaning you can call the program and get services without a referral). Learn more about making a referral.
Insurance and Payment
Many of our services are covered by public and private insurance, while others are free of charge.
