Board of Directors

Ronald Jewell, Chairperson – Ron is a resident of Framingham. He has been an insurance broker for over 40 years and is the president of Jewell Insurance Agency, Inc. Ron has been an active member of the MetroWest Chamber of Commerce, serving in the past as Director and Board Chairman, and a Trustee for the Hillside and Marian High Schools. Ron and his wife, Janice, have four children.

 

Gregory J. Aceto – Vice Chairperson – Gregory is a Natick resident.  He is a managing partner of the law firm Johnson and Aceto, LLP. As an attorney, Gregory has significant experience in corporate governance, government relations, and legal issues.   Gregory served on the Board for the Italian Home for Children, a residential and outpatient treatment center for emotionally disturbed children, for 7 years.

 

Dr. Edward A. Cohen, Clerk – Ed is a Framingham resident and has served on the Board of Directors since 2001.  Ed is the Executive Director of Reed Academy in Framingham, a school for learning disabled youth.  Ed received his doctorate in education from Nova University and is a Mental Health Counselor and Marriage and Family Counselor.

 

Daniel L. Sullivan, Treasurer – Dan is an Ashland resident and member of the Board of Directors since 1989.  Dan is the Human Resources Director at Tewksbury State Hospital. Dan serves as Chair of the Board Finance Committee and Co-Chair of the Human Resources/Personnel Committee, a committee comprised of board and staff.

 

Gregg Andonian - Gregg recently joined the Board in 2011. He is Managing Partner/COO of Baystate Fiduciary Advisors, a boutique accredited investment fiduciary advisory firm with national expertise in helping plan fiduciaries meet their fiduciary obligations in the 401k and higher education/nonprofit 403b space.

 

Rev. Dr. J Anthony Lloyd – Rev. Lloyd has served as the pastor of the Greater Framingham Community Church for the past 13 years. Prior to coming to the church he served for 20 years as the associate dean of students at Gordon College in Wenham Mass., where he continues to serve as an adjunct faculty member of the Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary. Dr. Lloyd serves on numerous boards and committees throughout MetroWest and the United States.  Rev. Lloyd serves as the Chair of the Board Public Relations Committee.

 

Gonzalo J. Puigbo – Gonzalo is the Vice President and Regional Sales Manager for the North Shore and MetroWest area at Eastern Bank. He is a member of the Board of Directors at Compass Working Capital and MetroWest Adult ESL. A native of Venezuela, Gonzalo brings a deep personal commitment to his extensive volunteer work on behalf of low-income families, especially in Latino communities. Gonzalo and his wife Vera live in Natick with their two children.

 

Wendy L. Scharen – Wendy is a Westborough resident.  She is the mother of four children, and has a nursing and teaching background.  She has worked with children, has served as a PTA vice president, a Sunday school teacher, a classroom volunteer and fundraising event coordinator. 

 

Dominick C. Tolson – Dominick is a Sherborn resident.  A retired Chief Petty Officer in the United States Navy, Dominick is a Regional Sales Manager for The Double E Co. in West Bridgewater, MA., a volunteer fireman and EMT for the Town of Sherborn and a foster parent. Dominick and his wife Karen have been long-time Wayside supporters.

 

Susan Yi-Millette – Susan is a Boylston resident.  As a first generational Korean-American immigrant social work educator and a faculty member at Wheelock College, Susan brings valuable experience to the Board.  She serves on a National Committee on Ethnic and Racial Diversity of NASW and was the co-chair of the state wide NASW committee on Ethnic and Racial Affairs.  Susan also serves on the Board of Trustees in Bancroft School in Worcester.
