Wayside Youth & Family Support Network Celebrates Selection as a Stop & Shop Community Bag Beneficiary
FRAMINGHAM, Mass. – Wayside Youth & Family Support Network has been selected as a beneficiary of the Stop & Shop Community Bag Program for the month of July.
The Stop & Shop Community Bag Program, which launched in May 2019, is a reusable bag program that facilitates community support with the goal to make a difference in the communities where shoppers live and work.
Wayside was selected as the July beneficiary of the program by store leadership at the Stop & Shop located at 235 Old Connecticut Path in Framingham. Wayside’s Milford site will receive $1 donation every time the $2.50 reusable community bag is purchased at the Framingham store during July, unless otherwise directed by the customer through the Giving Tag attached to the bag.
“This is an awesome way to build community awareness of Wayside and our services while also fundraising for the trauma intervention services at our Milford site,” said Andrea Salzman, vice president of community services at Wayside. “We thank Stop & Shop employees for selecting us as a beneficiary of the Community Bag Program and everyone who donates to Wayside by buying a bag this month.”
