FRAMINGHAM – Wayside Youth & Family Support Network received a COVID-19 Relief Grant from the Saab Family Foundation to provide personal protective equipment to staff returning to working with families in their homes, gift cards for basic needs like food, cleaning supplies and personal care products and to purchase Chrome Books for 10 of our families in the Greater Lowell area who lack access to technology.

Wayside’s Lowell site provides services to more than 200 children, young adults and families a day.

“We are tremendously grateful to the Saab Family Foundation for providing this relief grant,” said Elisa Jacome, Lowell site director. “Many of our families have been disproportionately affected by COVID-19 and have suffered financial, physical and emotional issues. These funds will alleviate some of the stress our families are experiencing and enable our staff to safely provide counseling and support in their clients homes.”
