Counseling and Substance Abuse Services      

The Counseling and Substance Abuse services provide a full range of mental health and substance abuse services for children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. Services include diagnostic assessments, psychological evaluation, medication evaluation and treatment, substance abuse evaluation/treatment and individual, group and family therapy.

We combine therapeutic counseling with skill-building aimed at assisting each program participant in achieving long-term resiliency and independence. Services include assessment of strengths and needs, goal setting, behavioral objectives and effective transitioning to less intensive services.

Wayside Family Counseling Centers

A full range of mental health and substance abuse services for children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families including diagnostic assessments, psychological evaluation, medication evaluation and treatment, on-call emergency services, substance abuse evaluation/treatment and individual, group and family therapy.

Wayside Family Based Services – HomeBase and FamilyWorks

Intensive, flexible services designed to respond to individual and family situations, typically combining therapeutic counseling, substance abuse treatment, skill-building, advocacy and concrete services in order to develop solutions that will support long term independent functioning. Available throughout the Worcester to Boston corridor.

Wayside Day Center

Partial hospitalization and day treatment alternatives for adolescents with psychiatric and/or substance abuse service needs. A unique psychiatric day treatment program for adolescents, our intensive approach is designed to prevent hospitalization or to shorten hospital stays. We seek to provide skills for resolution and stabilization when problems become acute, life management and goal setting.

Wayside Trauma Intervention Services

Assisting survivors and their families throughout the process of healing, to end the cycle of violence through community education. We provide a continuum of resiliency-based services to victims of violence.
