Eric L. Masi, Ed.D.

President and Chief Executive Officer

Eric has served as the President & CEO of Wayside Youth & Family Support Network for over 30 years. Eric started when Wayside’s only program was Harbinger House, which still operates in Framingham as its emergency shelter for teens. Eric serves on various statewide committees and boards including Children’s League of Massachusetts and Mental Health Corporation of Massachusetts. Eric also serves as a Peer Reviewer for the Council on Accreditation of Services to Children and Families. He received his bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University in 1974 and his doctorate from Harvard University in 1987.

Elizabeth Reid, LICSW

Vice President

Ms. Reid brings more than 30 years of experience to her position overseeing the agency’s residential and day services. She is a recognized leader, with a long list of local and national speaking engagements, including Harvard Medical School, Boston University, and the National Managed Health Care Congress. She also has trained clinicians in Massachusetts and across the country in clinical interventions, substance use, clinical evaluation, assessment of suicide risk in adolescents, quality management systems, and professionalism in the treatment of clients.

Ms. Reid’s served for six years as chair of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Corporations of Massachusetts’ Compliance Committee and is a member of the Quality Management and Outcomes committees. She also served on the Governor’s Task Force on Risk Management and the prevention of suicide in group care settings.

She received a B.A. in Philosophy from Wells College, an MSW from Simmons College School of Social Work and is independently licensed (LICSW) in Massachusetts.

Bonny Saulnier, MA

Vice President

During her tenure at Wayside, Ms. Saulnier has been instrumental in developing programs that utilize family strengths and promote resiliency, community tenure, and permanency for children. She has developed programs that connect families and youth to a wide range of community support systems such as peer, parent and sibling support groups, advocacy organizations and substance abuse prevention.

In 2007, Ms. Saulnier played a lead role in Wayside’s award of a $493,000 grant from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Local Initiatives Funding Partners program. The grant, matched by local funding partners, established the first young adult resource center in the MetroWest region dedicated to accessible, age-appropriate resources for young adults who are challenged by behavioral health issues.

Ms. Saulnier has also participated at the most senior levels with DSS on many of their groundbreaking family centered initiatives, from the development and then implementation of Family Based Services system in 2000, Family Networks in 2005, and more recently, Working with Families Right from the Start.

Ms. Saulnier oversees Wayside’s Family Based Services and Family Networks as well as our diverse community outreach programs. Ms. Saulnier has presented at several national conferences on family based treatment and parent empowerment models.

She received her undergraduate degree at Brandeis University and her master’s degree from the University of Massachusetts.

Carol Flinn-Roberts, LMHC

Vice President

Ms. Flinn-Roberts leads Wayside’s outpatient counseling clinics in delivering high quality behavioral healthcare services, including specialized substance abuse and trauma intervention services. She brings more than 30 years of administrative, supervisory, and therapy experience to her role as Vice President.

Prior to making her home in Massachusetts, Ms. Flinn-Roberts directed collaborative activities with four (4) partner agencies in Alabama to provide assessment, therapeutic foster care, and intensive in-home services to child/youth victims of abuse/neglect. She also served as Clinical Director for a major community-based mental health services group in Washington State, where she developed an expertise in the delivery of community-based crisis intervention and recovery-oriented services. Having worked in other regions of the country, she provides Wayside a national perspective on innovative best practices in behavioral health and child welfare.

Ms. Flinn-Roberts has presented at both regional and state conferences and has provided numerous trainings on a variety of mental health topics, including suicide assessment and intervention, risk management, and collaborations with law enforcement. She received her BA in Psychology from the University of Missouri and her MA in Psychology from Morehead State University.

Diane Ramirez-Riley, MBA

Director of Human Resources

Ms. Ramirez-Riley previously spent eight years at U.S. Environmental Rental Corporation, as a member of the senior team, overseeing business operations and human resources.

Ms. Ramirez-Riley completed her Masters in Human Resource Management in 2006 at the University of Phoenix, and holds an undergraduate degree in Business Management from Lesley University.

Marisa Timmins

Director of Development

Ms. Timmins brings more than 12 years in the development field. She began her career at arts organizations in New York and in Massachusetts, and in the past few years has turned her focus to social services. Most recently overseeing events and annual giving at the Robert F. Kennedy Children’s Action Corps, Ms. Timmins has a wide range of development experience. Ms. Timmins received her B.A. from Barnard College, Columbia University.
