Donald S. Keller

Chairperson

Don, a Wayland resident, has served on Wayside’s Board of Directors since 1979. Don is the former president and owner of the manufacturing firm, Apahouser-Elcom, Inc. He now works in commercial real estate development.

Dominick C. Tolson

Vice Chairperson

Dominick, a Sherborn resident, joined the Board in 2004. Dominick is a retired Chief Petty Officer in the U.S. Navy. Dominick is a Regional Sales Manager for The Double E Co. in West Bridgewater, Ma., a volunteer fireman and EMT for the Town of Sherborn as well as a foster parent. Dominick and his wife Karen have been long-time Wayside supporters.

Maribeth P. Hedgpeth

Clerk

Maribeth, an Ashland resident, has served on Wayside’s Board of Directors since 1984. Maribeth currently serves as an attorney at Gaynor & Hedgpeth in Framingham. She previously practiced law at Bikofsky & White, which represented the Town of Framingham for nearly 30 years. Maribeth serves as the co-chair of the Board’s Fundraising Committee.

Daniel L. Sullivan

Treasurer

Dan, an Ashland resident, has been a member of Wayside’s Board of Directors since 1989. Dan is the Human Resources Director at Tewksbury State Hospital. Dan serves as chair of the Board’s Finance Committee and the Board’s Human Resources/Personnel Committee, a group comprised of both Board members and staff.

Gregory J. Aceto

Greg, a Natick resident, joined the Board in 2007. As a managing partner at the law firm Johnson and Aceto, LLP, Greg has significant experience in corporate governance, government relations, and legal issues. He previously served for seven years on the Board for the Italian Home for Children, a residential and outpatient treatment center for emotionally disturbed children.

Dr. Edward A. Cohen

Ed, a Framingham resident, has served on the Board of Directors since 2001. Ed is the Executive Director of Reed Academy in Framingham, a special education school for youth ages 7-18. Ed received his Doctorate in Education from Nova University and is a Mental Health Counselor and Marriage and Family Counselor.

Robert D. Cushing

Bob, a Framingham resident, has served on Wayside’s Board of Directors since 1978. Bob is a retired employee of the Polaroid Corporation, and former owner and president of New England Information Services. Bob also served for 15 years on the Board of Directors of the Performing Arts Center of MetroWest.

Roberta G. Leis

Roberta, a founding Board member, has served on the Board of Directors since 1977. A strong advocate for public health policy issues, Roberta serves as the Program Director of “Join Together,” a Boston University School of Public Health initiative. “Join Together” addresses substance abuse and gun violence. She is a Framingham resident.

Rev. Dr. J Anthony Lloyd

Rev. Lloyd has served as the pastor of the Greater Framingham Community Church for the past 13 years and joined Wayside’s Board of Directors in 2005. He also continues to serve as an adjunct faculty member of the Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary in Wenham, Ma., where he also spent 20 years as the Associate Dean of Students. Rev. Lloyd serves on numerous local and national boards and committees. He is the chair of Wayside’s Public Relations Committee.

Wendy L. Scharen

Wendy, currently a nurse and a former teacher, has served on the Board of Directors since 2004. Wendy has served as a PTA Vice President, Sunday school teacher, classroom volunteer, and fundraising event planner. Wendy lives in Westborough with her four children. She serves as the chair of the Board Program Quality Committee.

Susan Yi-Millette

Susan, a Boylston resident, joined the Wayside Board of Directors in 2007. As a first generation Korean-American Social Work Educator and a faculty member at Wheelock College, Susan brings valuable experience to the Board. She also serves on the National Association of Social Worker’s Committee on Ethnic and Racial Diversity and is a former co-chair of NASW’s statewide committee on Ethnic and Racial Affairs. In addition, Susan serves on the Bancroft School’s Board of Trustees in Worcester.
