Success Fest II a Success!
On Monday, March 13, the Massachusetts Department of Mental Health, in collaboration with Wayside Framingham Parent Peer Partnership and the Parent Partner Advocacy League of Massachusetts, hosted the second annual Success Fest II at Quinsigamond Community College in Worcester.
This well-attended conference brought together "at-risk" young adults, young adult allies and providers. There was never a dull moment throughout the day, from spin art to back massages- Success Fest II provided an outlet for everyone to enjoy and learn.
The day was scattered with speakers and nonprofits providing information about local, critical organizations serving young adults. In addition, there were trainings that provided the "tools" for success.
Last, but not least, there was a job fair- where young adults could meet with recruiters and provide their resume for follow up regarding employment opportunities.
