Wayside Congratulates Local Election Winners

Wayside Youth & Family Support Network would like to acknowledge all those who ran for local government this year. It is in collaboration with these elected officials that we are able to pursue our mission of “Empowering children, young adults and families to achieve greater independence and emotional well-being.”

Wayside recently launched a new location in Medford, and local politicians were there to support the opening. Congratulations to incumbent Medford Mayor Stephanie Muccini Burke and City Councilor Richard Caraviello who attended Wayside’s recent Medford Open House.

Wayside has deep ties in Framingham, which held a historic vote this year to transform from a town in to a city, therefore electing its first mayor. Congratulations to Mayor-Elect Yvonne Spicer, a vice president at Boston’s Museum of Science and a former educator.

Wayside Lowell serves as a community service agency as well as providing in-home services. Their city election welcomes to the school committee newcomers Dominik Lay and Gerard Nutter.

We would like to congratulate all of the winners in our most recent elections and look forward to working with them in the future.
